Elavon Fraud Video (DESCRIPTION) Elavon. (SPEECH) SPEAKER: At Elavon, protecting you against fraud and securing your data is our priority. Scams get more sophisticated every day. The goal is to collect your personal or account information. You must be aware of scams and know what to expect from your bank to keep your account secure. Whether they use phone, email, or text, today's fraudsters sound convincing when they claim to be from the bank. They use official sounding language, reference recent purchases, or ironically mention suspicious activity. They may have some real account details. Don't be fooled. It's designed to trick you. When they create a sense of urgency or ask for immediate action like a transaction approval, card detail confirmation, or clicking a link, pause. These are red flags. Remember, Elavon will never ask you to cancel a fraudulent transaction, confirm a refund, or approve or test a transaction in the app for any reason. And if you approve a fraudulent transaction, you may be liable. Elavon will never call, email, or text you to ask for your card details, your login credentials, or one-time passwords. Here's how to protect yourself. If you receive a text with a code or push notification and you're not using your card, contact us immediately. Never give out your passcodes or passwords to anyone. If in doubt, call the Elavon number on the back of your card and save it to your contacts. Then you'll have quick access if your card is ever lost or stolen. If you suspect fraud, call us or visit our website. Stay informed, stay vigilant, and keep your data secure so you can spend safely. (DESCRIPTION) Elavon. Stay informed, Stay vigilant, Spend safely.
